Windows 10 support ends
Microsoft will end support in October 2025
Microsoft has officially announced that support for Windows 10 will end on October 14th, 2025. This means that no more security updates, bug fixes or technical support will be available for Windows 10 after this date.
In order to have a more secure IT infrastructure after this date, every PC must be updated to Windows 11. This also applies to all computers that are "only" used as terminal server or cloud server stations. With only one exception: Windows 10 IoT on Klaes e-prod stations.
Upgrade to Windows 11
Hardware requirements: To upgrade to Windows 11, every PC must have, among other things, the Trusted Platform Module (TPM). This security requirement ensures that your data is better protected. Only computers that are less than 2 to 5 years old usually fulfil these requirements for Windows 11.
Check compatibility: Check your systems and applications early to make sure they are compatible with Windows 11. You can download an app from Microsoft here (at the bottom of the page) to check that each PC fulfils all the requirements.
Our team is ready to help you plan the switchover and make it as smooth as possible. Together we can ensure that your systems remain secure, up-to-date and fully functional.
Assessment of the situation
Security and compliance: Without security updates, your system is susceptible to security vulnerabilities and cyberattacks. This can lead to data breaches and compliance issues.
Software compatibility: After the end of support, new versions of applications and software, including our products, may no longer be compatible with Windows 10. This may affect the functionality and efficiency of your work processes.
Technical support: As Microsoft no longer offers support for Windows 10, we too can only offer our customers limited support for problems that are specifically related to the operating system.
