Things are moving forward
The great cohesion gives courage and helps to cope
Just as unbelievable as this flood is the willingness to help, the support, the sympathy and the cohesion in the Klaes team as well as from outside the company. Customers, business partners, companies from the sector, former employees, private friends and acquaintances have come forward and offered their help. Primarily, of course, for those directly affected from the Klaes team. Many, many thanks for feeling so strongly connected to us! We are currently in the process of organising the ways for this support, but this will take some time.
Last Saturday we started to dry the Klaes buildings with volunteers from the Klaes team, because of course no special companies can be found so quickly. A very special thank you goes to Michael Lumpp from our customer Bechtold from Kronau. He and Jens Johanni from Klaes provided the fire brigade equipment needed to pump out the cellars. And he even came along himself to support us!
As of today, the cellars will be cleared out and cleaned, which is why many of the field staff are in Ahrweiler to support the team on site. At the same time, our IT is being set up - we should be ready to go by the end of this week at the latest. We are very happy that SHD AG from Andernach is making their infrastructure available to us for this purpose, because severe restrictions are to be expected in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler for a longer period of time. In addition, we are allowed to use 10 of their co-working spaces to replace home office places. Thank you very much!
